Khoya barfi made from Ghee leftovers
An indian dessert made from homemade khoya got after making ghee. A yummy ghee leftover dessert . Flavors resemble to mathura pedas

Ingredients
  • 250gms khoya( residue after making ghee)
  • 1/2tsp cardamompowder/Illaichi powder
  • 140gms sugarCastor / Powdered / to tastes
Instructions
  1. Take the khoya and churn it into the mixer till very fine.
  2. Add cardamom powder and Castor sugar to it. Mix it well.
  3. Now,pour this batter which looks like a very soft cookie dough into a platter square in shape and spread evenly.
  4. Now, leave this tray /platter in the fridge to set for 15-20 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes , take it out and cut them into small barfis like shape.You may cut it like kaju katli shape too.
  6. Apply work and serve.
  7. Since,it has ghee into it already,in hot summers you may need to keep it in the fridge only to store.
Recipe Notes

TIPS: Add or coat for desiccated coconut to make coconut ladoo or barfi.
