Instant Raw Mango Tomato Idli Dosa Chutney recipe. Easy and quick recipe. Ready in 10 minutes. Goes along with all south Indian recipes. Perfect sweet and sour flavor to go along with most cuisines. Can be served even with north Indian dishes.

Instant Raw Mango Idli Dosa Chutney

Perfect combination with Instant Idli with Idli Rava or Moong Dal Idli, Broccoli Poha Idli |Broccoli Poha Steamed Savory Cakes. This chutney is versatile. Its sweet and sour flavor compliments all recipes in South Indian cuisine. But can be served along with many north Indian cuisines too.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 raw mango chopped
  • 1 medium onion slit into 4
  • 1 medium tomato slit into 4
  • 1/2 tsp sarson / mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Asafoetida /Hing
  • 3-4 Kadi patta /curry leaves
  • 1 tsp jaggery
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 Dry red chilies
Servings: ppl
Instructions
  1. Heat oil.
  2. all mustard seeds/Sarson, dry red chili and let them splutter.
  3. Add ginger, curry leaves, and hing.
  4. Add onions and raw mango and tomatoes. Saute on medium-high flame till golden brown.
  5. Shut the flame, cool for 2-3 min, and grind to paste in a mixer.
  6. Add 1-2 tsp water if necessary for consistency (optional)
  7. Raw Mango Tomato Idli Dosa Chutney is ready to serve.
Recipe Notes

Just double the ingredients if preparing for more people. This chutney is sufficient for 2 people.
