Moong Dal/Green Gram Pakoras (Fritters)

Whole Moong Pakora

Moong Dal Pakora |Green Gram Fritters is a heirloom recipe made from whole green gram soaked and crushed to paste.Delicious and healthy they can either be fried or baked and also air fried.

This is my mothers recipe.A super hit for all Tea parties, even as dinner parties snack. My family loved it and she was mostly instructed to make it for almost all family dinners. Its not funny, but these fritters do deserve all that love.We have grown up having these pakoras/fritters and relished each time she made them. Now, as a mother I can even relate to her,why she was so glad when we hogged on to these dal/lentil fries.

She fed us Dal/Lentil,which was otherwise a Big fight and she won the war by simply disguising the proteins ,which we despised eating.Really, today I feel the same when my children enjoy these. These bite sized fritters are amazing. You’ll believe me only once you have tried one yourself. Firstly, they do not taste vegetarian. Yes yes! They are a vegetarian snack, but the flavors are very kabab like. So,its good news for all you vegetarians. They are healthy, high protein and extremely yummy! And i am celebrating the new look my blog got today and the rains complimenting the whole mood.
