Pan Fried Sole Fish with Green salad

Sole Fish is a group of flatfish which may belong to several different families.Being the most esteemed and widely available fish its most commonly used in Chinese cuisines.This recipe is a mix of Mexican cum Italian flavors and prepared so quickly that its ideal when you need to cook in a rush or for some sudden party.Its easy preparation and rustic flavors are just perfect for a starter.

Ingredients

1 kg Sole Fish 🙁 10-12 pcs)
1 1/2 cups Fresh Bread Crumbs:
1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning:
1 tsp Chilli Flakes:( or to taste)
1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder:
to taste Salt
1/2 tsp Chaat Masala:
1 tbsp Cornflour :
1 egg beaten
to fry : 2 Oil tbsp.

Steps

  1. Crush the the bread crumbs of fresh bread slices in a mixer. Approx. two slices would be enough to make 1 1/2 cup of crumbs.
  2. Transfer this into a deep platter and add cornflour ,seasoning,black pepper powder ,salt, chilli flakes and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, beat an egg.
  4. Heat 2 tbsp oil pan.
  5. Now, coat each piece first into the bread crumbs and then in the beaten egg.Coat well and put it in a pan to fry.Serve hot with green salad ,Tarter Dip and sauces.

For Green Salad:

Salad Leaves: 1 bowl

Ganth Gobi/Kohl Rabi: 2-3

Ingredients

2 Carrots:
1/2 cup Corns:
1/4 cup Peanuts:
1( cubed) Apple
1 orange/kinu: cubes
Any other veggie or fruit may be added as per liking.
Dressing:
2 tbsp Olive Oil:
1 tbsp Mayonnaise:
to taste Salt
1 tbsp Castor Sugar:
1 Lemon Juice: lemon
1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning:
1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder:

Steps

  1. Break the salad leaves with your hands and put them in the mixing bowl.
  2. Add the other vegetables and fruits cut into cube size pieces.
  3. Make the dressing in a small bowl .Mix well with a spoon and pour over the salad.Mix well and serve along side the fish.

  • This salad dressing can be used for any basic salad made of veggies or pasta.
