Mango yogurt Popsicle are a refreshing chilled dessert made with fresh homemade yogurt and mango pulp and honey adding to its flavors.A fruit yogurt combination is not a new thing.You may have tried smoothies with different fruit combinations and must have fed your kids too.I do that all the time as my kids are not ready to have plain yogurt in summers. This time I tried the combo in form of an ice cream. I have had frozen yogurts many a times. But again a home cooked dish is always one up than a market bought.

So I tried the yogurt popsicles.They are easy and simple to prepare.Light and healthy on the stomach and they have a very creamy texture like the ice creams made from cream and condensed milk.I found this yogurt ice cream better because its healthier and can be prepared from low fat yoghurt too to make it fat free. And why mango,because its the most versatile fruit of all. And very healthy too. You can make Mango banana smoothie, mango salad ,mango melange cooler which are some of the most delicious recipes i have tried.Try this recipe and you’ll agree with me totally.

  1. Take all the ingredients in a mixer and churn together till well blended.
  2. You may use any variety but the ones with a little sour texture like safeda give a much better flavor.
  3. Taste the sugar and add more sure if needed according to taste preferences.
  4. Pour this mix in your Popsicle mold and freeze for 4-5 hours.
  5. Serve chilled topped with your favorite nuts and syrup. Or you may serve it just like that.
