Banana Cake- 100% Whole wheat -No Sugar-Super Moist
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract / vanilla essence
- 2 Bananas
- 1 tsp coffee poder
- 3 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp Jaggery powder
- 3 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- In a mixer attachment: Add the bananas, jaggery powder, vanilla essence, coffee powder and ground them to puree.
- Pour this mixture into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.
- Add (extra) milk for consistency if needed. Only if need be.
- Grease the baking pan. I have used:15cm x 9cm x5cm or a mini loaf pan.
- Bake @ 160 degrees c for 35-40 minutes. Let it cool once done and demould.
Recipe Notes
If you want walnuts or almonds to be added you may add them to the dry flour and then add to the wet ingredient. Just finely chop 1/4 cup of mixed nuts or just 3 tbsp of walnuts.
