Instant mango chutney sweet | How to make instant mango chutney | Aam chunda recipe, is a sweet and sour mango chutney made with raw mangoes cooked with gur shakkar ( jaggery powder) and spices.An easy to make recipe and can be enjoyed with a simple poori, roti/chapati ,bread toast or with your favorite rice dish.
Summer brings along the most versatile fruit of all, Mangoes in its full beauty and varieties. Be it in its raw form or ripe, mangoes can bring joy to any foodie with its diverse recipe chain. Raw mangoes are a delight. They adapt to any recipe and add a lovely flavor to whichever recipe they are cooked with.
There are many recipes with raw mangoes. A few i make every summers and a few i always keep in stock are raw mango pickle, Khatti Dal ( Sour lentils), Mango melange ,raw mangoes and mint chutney and a few more. - 1 kg raw mangoes grated
- 1 cup white sugar 1 cup=200 gm
- 1 cup gur shakkar / powdered jaggery
- 1 tsp red chilli powder /degi mirch
- 1/2 tsp Black Salt
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp garam masala five spice powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Peel and grate the raw mangoes.
- put on flame .keep the flame to medium high.
- add sugar, jaggery powder/shakkar . Mix well
- Once it starts to boil, add salt, black salt.
- Let it cook on medium flame till it thickens.
- Now add , red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder.
- cook for another 2-3 minutes.Taste and adjust the salt and chili powder. If you need to add as per your taste then add now.
- Put it off flame and let it cool down.
- The chutney is ready to serve now. You can store this outside for 5-6 days and in the fridge upto 15 days.
