How to make these Brownies – VEGAN
To make a Vegan version of these brownies, just replace the dairy ingredients as follows.
- Eggs – 2 Bananas / egg replacement powder 2 tbsp+ 2 tbsp hot water.
- Curd – Vegan curd or buttermilk.

- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup Drinking Chocolate
- 3/4 cup Coco powder
- 1+3/4 cup Jaggery powder
- 4 tbsp Desi Ghee/ Clarified Butter
- 3 tbsp curd or coconut milk
- pinch salt
- 3 small eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 3 tbps nuts Cashew, almonds, walnuts
- Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees Celcius.
- In a Bowl, Beat 3 eggs till fluffy.
- Add vanilla essence, ghee, and jaggery. Beat at full speed till nicely mixed.
- Add curd and beat again till nicely incorporated.
- Now, through a sieve, add cocoa powder, flour, milk powder, and drinking chocolate. Sieve it through into the mix.
- Mix with cut and fold method. Mix until incorporated.
- Line a Baking tray, as shown in the pic above. And pour the batter into the tray.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
- After 40 minutes, let it cool on the rack for 10 minutes before cutting and serving. Top it with Chocolate Ganache and serve.
