How to make the perfect and quickest Chili Paneer Jalfrezi:

  1. Use tomato puree instead of fresh pureed tomatoes.
  2. Cut the vegetables in a similar size and style.
  3. Saute the vegetable in oil or butter on high flame for the perfect charred look and flavor.
  4.  Tomatoes should be cubed/ cut in 4 for better look and flavor.

Chili Paneer Jalfrezi

Chili paneer jalfrezi is a quick recipe of cottage cheese cooked in a rich tomato gravy with sauteed vegetables with restaurant like flavors.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in the pan.
  2. Sautee the vegetable separately till little charred and done. Keep these aside till the end.
  3. Now in the same oil, add the spices on simmer and add a little water to avoid the spices to burn. Once the oil separates, add the tomato puree, tomato ketchup, ginger garlic paste, red chili sauce. Cook till oil separates.
  4. Now add the cubed cottage cheese/paneer. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the sauteed vegetables. Mix well. Keep simmer.
  6. Add the cream and cook for another minute or two.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and spring onion greens. Serve hot.

Goes well with Noodles, Rice and Roti. Perfect with both Indian and Chinese mains.
